10 Habits Of Successful People

How can I better myself with this one life that I live?

With the information, I'm about to share I want to ENCOURAGE YOU and REMIND MYSELF that we are all capable of amazing things. It's just a matter of realigning our day.

Creating new habits that will serve us rather than hinder us.

How are you going to live this one life that you have

Goal Setting

1.) Do Not Push Snooze.

Get up when your alarm goes off. Does nine extra "snooze" minutes of sleep give you deep sleep? Not at all! It's setting you up for the day for procrastination. Putting off what you know you should be doing. Get up and take charge of your day.

2.) Wake Up 15 Minutes Early To Have Time In Solitude.

Whether that's listening to a Ted talk, journaling, reading the Bible, praying, or visualizing and thinking through your goals. Use this time to have silence and to prepare for the day. This is helpful to do at the kitchen table or outside; wherever it is, your preparation time should not be spent in your bed. That would make it easier to fall back asleep and not be mentally focused.

Don't Push Snooze

3.) Eat Breakfast

Enjoy a wholesome breakfast. Feeding your body for the tasks that lay before us is crucial. This will help you maintain energy and focus throughout the day. Think of whole oats with fruit, eggs with Ezekiel bread. Plain Greek yogurt with Stevia sweetener and fresh fruit

4.) Start Your Tasks Off With The First Project That Makes You Cringe.

That's right; rather than ignoring it all day and knowing you must get to it, go full force ahead and get it done first. You'll feel a sense of relief and be more clear-minded to tackle the other tasks of the day.

Eat Breakfest

5.) A Morning Workout

Exercise will give you a boost of energy, and you'll feel pumped up for the day. It's easier to get to your workout in the morning instead of putting it off at the end of the day when you may be bombarded with something. Working out early in the morning you'll more likely have no interruptions emails, phone calls, text. Which means you can stay focused and get your workout completed a lot sooner.

6.) Be Prepared, Bring Snacks

Keeping healthy snacks with you will improve your focus, and fuel your brain and energy level, which will help with productivity. Plan your snacks. Try raw nuts, beef jerky, RX bars. Keeping your metabolism going and your brain focusing at an elevated level is essential. Smart snacking will get you there.

7.) Work In A Clutter-Free Zone.

If your desk and office are filled with old magazines, receipts, and papers to be filed, then throw them out, or file them. Working in an organized space (not to mention a living space) will clear your mind, so you're not distracted. We live lives that get continuously cluttered, so we must regularly declutter.

8.) Write Your To-Do List The Night Before

Making a list of the top tasks you need to tackle the next day will get them out of your mind and help you sleep. When you are awake, write down what you plan to start the next day. If you write, organize, and make an outline for yourself, it will set you up for an auspicious beginning of the next day.

9) Read

Read 30 minutes a day to educate yourself and improve. Read biographies, history, and self-help books. As you read biographies, you'll be learning life lessons from others.

10.) Have A Bedtime Routine

Shut down 1 to 2 hours before going to bed. This means to spend time with your family (no screens or devices as blue light affects the way we sleep), take a warm bath or shower, stretch, listen to relaxing music, do your breathing exercises, read, take melatonin. Having a routine will shut your body down naturally and prepare you for a great night sleep.
