*BUSY MOMS*

I get it, as a mom to six, I get that it is overwhelming at times! Often, we can find ourselves running ragged.

So it's important to TAKE CARE of YOURSELF. Carve out a little time.

It doesn't need to be long, even 15 minutes can refresh you and get you energized to serve those around you..

1. GET SLEEP THAT YOU DESPERATELY NEED

The recommendation is 7-9 hours per night, but look, I get it. Sometimes that’s not always possible, especially if you have young kids or teenagers.

Make every effort to stick to the bedtime routine— start relaxing an hour before bed, dimming the lights, taking a shower, reading a book and settling down.

Make the effort to get adequate sleep, it’s good for your body and attitude

2. INSTEAD OF GRAZING ALL DAY, EAT A REAL MEAL

We’re more likely to make healthier food choices and well-balanced meals. Sit down for meals instead of eating on the go.

Give it a try... sitting down to enjoy a “real” breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then, including snacks as needed.

3. KEEP MEALS SIMPLE

It’s easier to make nutritious meals when our recipes are simple.

Aim for few ingredients and prep work to make meal time more efficient and less clean.

4. HYDRATE

It’s hard sometimes to remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day.

If you're struggling to drink enough water during the day, have a water bottle with you at all times.

This is an excellent visual reminder to continue drinking your water throughout the day.

I do hope you'll put at least one of these tips into practice throughout your day. You wont regret it!
