Home-style Beef Stew
Ingredients:
• 2 1/2 pounds of grass fed beef stew, or lean steak, Cut into 1/4 pieces
• 1 package of organic celery, sliced down the middle, then chop
• 7 to 9 organic carrots, peeled and chopped
• 1 yellow onion, finely chopped
• 3 large sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
• 1 to 2 teaspoons of Lawry's seasoned salt, no MSG
• salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Put beef into a crock pot, add 1 teaspoon of Lawry's, cover with water and Cook on medium for a couple of hours until beef is cooked all the way through. Add water if needed..
2.. Chop vegetables and add once beef is completely cooked. Add enough water to the amount of your liking.
3. Simmer for another hour. Combine salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon of Lawry's
Hint:
Depending on your time frame.
You could brown the beef in a skillet, making the cook time faster.Peeling, chopping, and cutting the vegetables a day or two before will save you time.
