Pros And Cons To Four Various Nutrition Paths

Thinking of how to lose some weight?

I get it, even though I've mostly maintained my weight since I was 16 years old there have been times in my life where I wanted to lose some weight. Take after having my first baby for instants. I gained a whopping 50 pounds! .

Vacations, business retreats, or missions trips, there have been times that I don't hold 100% true to my nutrition plan and gain a few pounds.

It could be that you're at that point where you want to you wants to build muscle, and lean down, giving your figure a feminine look.

Maybe you recently had a baby and are looking to get to “pre pregnancy” size.

Or could it be you’ve neglected yourself and are ready to make a commitment move towards health.

Maybe you're just tired of being straight up overweight, and you're tired of feeling worn out, and you want to lose those extra pounds.

I want to give you for various programs with pros and cons so that you can make your own educated decision on what you think is best for your lifestyle and your personality. Not all of us will do a particular thing. Sometimes you may do one thing, and your friend or husband may be doing another. And that's OK. I'm here to help guide you in making that decision

So let's get down to it we're going to look over for items the first one being.

WEIGHT WATCHERS:

PROS -

1. As weight watchers have evolved, there is an easy to use app that you can download on your phone. This makes it easy to know the points that you have consumed for the day.

2. There is weekly accountability that requires you to track your progress.

3. Some people prefer to use points to track their food. They know that with weight watchers you can eat all the fruits and vegetables count as "zero points."

CONS -

1. There is a cost to use the system. At $39.95 a month, you have weekly meetings; you also do have to purchase specific foods.

2. The food that weight watchers offer is low energy foods. Though the app and guide have over 4000 recipes offered, The quality of ingredients can vary in what you purchase because there are no foods that are limited. The ones you are buying will determine the overall quality of the food.

3. If you're highly busy, you may not have time to go to their required weekly meetings.

P90X:

PROS -

1. this DVD series is something you can do at home. You determine the best time to schedule according to your week.

2. This program introduces new exercises every 3 to 4 weeks. Variation brings greater benefits

3. Comes with a 90-day calendar to keep track of how you were doing. 113-page nutrition plan. 12 workout DVD. 100-page guidelines ===> serving size

CONS -

1. This exercise program is not for the faint of heart or those who are incredibly out of shape. Since doing at home without a personal trainer present to watch form, there's more cause for injury.

2. Workouts are 1 to 1 1/2 hours and links and require you to work out 6 to 7 days a week.

3. With the cost of $119.85, you will need to purchase a few more pieces of expensive equipment.

GYM MEMBERSHIP:

PROS -

1. You have access to lots of equipment. Everything you need is in one place.

2. Many gyms offer group classes. So the workout is done for you by an instructor leading the class.

3. This can be a social outlet. Connecting with other gym goers and touching base with them when you go.

CONS -

1. You have to go. Just because you have a membership does not make you go. Taking the initiative and getting in your car and driving to get to the gym can sometimes be the last thing on your mind, and the first thing to go when life gets crazy. Though it shouldn't be!

2. Pressure to look good. You know, with the cute workout pants and the matching zip up. And what about makeup, do you wear it or do you not want to wear it. You've got an image to show? Or does it matter?

3. You don't know how the heck to use the equipment. You go, but you wander around aimlessly because you don't know what to do. Or you end up on the treadmill elliptical doing mindless cardio. Which actually hinders us. More on that later blog.

PRECISION NUTRITION :

PROS -

1. Accountability (with accountability results skyrocket). A mentor/coach will make sure clients are being consistent and following through on recommendations, which only bring success.

2. Offers a "quick start guide." Once you enroll with me and complete the questioners, the system will automatically generate a custom eating guide to help with portion control, workout nutrition, grocery shopping, and meal prep.

3. With an accelerated system of lessons, habits, and assignments this program can be used by anyone eating Philosophy - vegetarian, Mediterranean, Paleo, Ketogenic.

CONS -

1. You need to open/respond to the emails for new habits. If you don't answer and take the initiative you miss out.

2. You need access to Internet either desktop or laptop, tablet, or mobile phone and feel comfortable interacting online.

3. There's a monthly cost.

There you have it, four various plans that are VERY different. I hope this helped you to determine which kind of accountability you would do better with.

I hope you see; I'm not here at all to make you move in one direction or the other. We all have different personalities and different lifestyles. Some of us love to go to a gym to be social and can be disciplined enough to do what's required of us. Others of us do much better with accountability, someone checking in on us. We have a sense of urgency when we know that we need to check in with someone
